HowToItaly, the World Leader in Providing Customized Consultations for Living and Working in Italy, Now Offers Personal Internships in the Bel Paese
Louisville, KY, June 03, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Interns on this intensive program in Italy will not be left floundering for things to do. They will work alongside Mario Berri, an Italian business manager and Emma Bird, a British expat business owner and published author. Intern applicants must be motivated, ambitious college students or young professionals who are serious about climbing the career ladder in Italy and wish to intern abroad for experience.
Co-director Emma Bird said: “Our new personal internship program in Italy is the ideal way to get a real understanding for the Italian labor market, gain valuable business experience and have fast tracked networking with Italian business professionals. After an intensive week of coaching by an Italian senior manager, interns will be full of confidence and ready to make the most of the opportunities which have opened up to them.”
Interns will learn how to climb the Italian career ladder from Mario, who will personally mentor them each day as he takes them to a variety of companies that he manages. They will not only network with other Italian professionals, but also be immersed in authentic Italian business environment and learn how to tackle problems hands on. Mario, who has had an international career and speaks fluent English, will coach interns on the best ways to impress an Italian boss, winning strategies on getting to interview and the business and cultural aspects. At the end of the week-long internship, they will have an Italian resume and cover letter as well as a written recommendation from Mario. Emma will focus on the move to Italy. She will work alongside the intern to map out a personal move-to-Italy strategy to help them achieve their dreams of living, working and settling down in the Bel Paese. All this while revealing to them the stunning island of Sardinia, where the internship takes place.
Mario Berri has had over 14 years of experience in various fields. He not only is a partner in two Italian firms, but also an accountant and personal consultant, as well as an established business owner and published author of Starting a Business in Italy.
Emma Bird has had over 10 years of experience combined as an aupair, corporate relocation consultant, and English-language consultant, journalist, and editor of an award winning student magazine. She is fluent in French and Italian and has worked throughout Italy, as well as Germany, France and the UK. She is an established business owner, having set up HowToItaly in 2005, and the published author of Starting a Business in Italy.
In addition to the experience working abroad for a week, interns will be able to relax on the Emerald Coast of Sardinia. HowToItaly will talk personally to the applicant and set up an all-inclusive trip so that a set price will include room, board and any extra curricular activities, such as a spa day, shopping or extending their stay in order fully explore the island.
Applications are welcome from all nationalities aged 29 or under. Sign up now by emailing them at events@howtoitaly.com.
