TheFilmportal.net & Max Legrand Cannes Art Auction in Aid of TG Foundation
TheFilmPortal.net, a networking and business tool for Film Festivals Worldwide, presents an Art Auction by internationally renowned neo-expressionist artist Max Legrand, which will take place during the 65th Cannes Film Festival on 22nd May from 7.00pm. A percentage of the proceeds from sales of Max Legrand’s works will be donated to the TG Foundation.
London, United Kingdom, April 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- TheFilmPortal.net , a networking and business tool for Film Festivals Worldwide, presents an Art Auction by internationally renowned neo-expressionist artist Max Legrand, which will take place during the 65th Cannes Film Festival on 22nd May from 7.00pm, in an exclusive villa north of the famous “La Croisette” and its glamorous red carpets.
A percentage of the proceeds from sales of Max Legrand’s works will be donated to the TG Foundation (UK registered charity no.1134942) which helps victims of rape in the north-eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
The evening will start with a presentation of the Artist, an introduction to the TG Foundation, followed by a trailer screening of the documentary “Blood in the Mobile”, which highlights the plight and exploitation of mine workers in the DCR. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the Director, Mr Frank Poulsen.
The Art Auction of a selection of works by the artist Max Legrand will then follow, amongst photoshoots and video recordings of the event. The event will be televised by France Ô, who are already very conversant with the artist and have run various interviews with Max Legrand.
Invited VIPs and chosen guests will enjoy the event and the lavish atmosphere, at a Champagne Reception, in the surroundings of a magnificent and secluded villa.
