Peoria Chamber of Commerce to Sponsor 1st Annual Taste of the West Wine Festival
Wine / Art / Food / Music / Silent Auction - Proceeds to benefit a young recipient of Guardian Angel Service Dogs, Inc.
Peoria, AZ, April 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Peoria Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Blu Agave Arizona Kitchen and The Tasting Room, will be offering its 1st Annual Taste of the West Wine Festival, an enchanting afternoon of wine tasting, art, silent auction and delectable edibles. The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 20, 2-5 p.m. at the Blu Agave Arizona Kitchen.
Tickets are $35 (or $30 for 2 or more tickets) with a limit of 125 tickets being sold. The wine tasting event will be held at the Blu Agave Arizona Kitchen at the northeast corner of El Mirage and Vistancia Blvd. Live music by Full Moon Jazz and artists Katie Von Kral & Dimitri Dominguez will be present.
“The objective is to bring the community together in northern Peoria and help raise funds by holding a silent auction,” said Gail Curran, Member Relationship Manager at the Peoria Chamber of Commerce. The proceeds will benefit Javier, a young child struggling with Autism and Drop Seizures. Javier’s parents are raising money to purchase a service dog from Guardian Angel Service Dogs.
The Chamber is looking for donations of any size to fill silent auction baskets that will be up for auction during the event. All donations are tax deductible. Any contribution is extremely appreciated.
