Paul Kaplan, owner of The Paul Kaplan Group announced today the addition of two new members to The Paul Kaplan Group: Katherine (Kat) Kim, the team’s newest Buyer’s Specialist, and Judi Perry as Client Services Coordinator. Kaplan extended a warm welcome to both, “We are very pleased to have both Kat and Judi join The Paul Kaplan Group. Kat brings a varied background of administrative and management experience and has been selling real estate for nearly four years while Judi has been involved in real estate in various capacities since the mid-90’s. An eight-year Coachella Valley resident, licensed real estate agent Kat has a background in business administration, accounting and property management, but yearned to help clients find the homes of their dreams. She made the official leap into real estate about four years ago and is thrilled that she made the move. Kat loves living in the Coachella Valley with her family, citing the desert climate as one of the things that drew her here. Kat underscores her enthusiasm for the desert, saying, “I love the Coachella Valley: the weather, the architecture and the lifestyle. And, I love sharing it with my clients.”
A recent transplant from Hawaii, Judi Perry's substantial career in real estate began in the 1990's when she followed her in mother’s footsteps and made the jump when a broker needed help with their real estate business. Judi’s previous career paths were quite varied and included teaching Contractor’s license law, concierge for a major hotel, and being an assistant to a race car driving coach in Sonoma, California. Judi cites her passion for Mid-century Modern design and its simplicity as part of the impetus for joining The Paul Kaplan Group, adding, “I grew up in Southern California when Mid-century designs were new. My parents had a second home in the desert, so there’s also a bit of nostalgia there as well.”
