Wholesome Valley Foods welcomes Jerry Bello to the Board of Directors and Scott Presnall, Thomas Aarts, and Jeffery Campbell to the Board of Advisors.
La Jolla, CA, April 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Today, Wholesome Valley Foods announces Jerry Bello has joined the Board of Directors, with Scott Presnall, Thomas Aarts, and Jeffery Campbell having joined the Board of Advisors.
Jerry Bello is a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of success. He began in the food and beverage space with Mama Says in 1999 and sold the company to Nonni’s Food Company in 2005. Mr. Bello set his sights on the healthy snack category in 2006 and developed Sensible Portions; later acquired by The Hain-Celestial Group in 2010.
Thomas Aarts is the Co-Founder and Principal at the Nutrition Capital Network, Managing Director of Nutrition Business Advisors, and the Founder and Executive Editor of the Nutrition Business Journal. Mr. Aarts is also a Director for several organizations including Vitamin Angels, a philanthropic organization focused on delivering vital nutrition to malnourished children throughout the world.
Scott Presnall is the former Retail/Key Account Manager at Kraft General Foods, former National Sales Manager at The J.M. Smucker Company, and former National Director for Advantage Sales & Marketing. Scott currently serves as Principal at the Presnall Management Corporation.
Jeffery Campbell is the former Senior Vice President of Brand Development of PepsiCo and former Chairman and CEO of Burger King. Jeff is currently the Chairman of the Chairmen’s Roundtable as well as the Brinker Executive in Residence at the San Diego State University School of Hospitality and Tourism.
