Junior League of Greensboro to host Second Annual Women’s Leadership Summit.
Greensboro, NC, May 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Buckhead Betties announced today its sponsorship of the upcoming 2012 Women’s Leadership Summit, hosted by the Junior League of Greensboro will be held May 18, 2012 at UNCG Elliott University Center.
The second annual Women’s Leadership Summit, has expanded its training sessions to offer development, support and encouragement to up and coming, and currently established women leaders within Greensboro and surrounding communities.
The summit will kick off this year with guest speaker Jennifer Thompson, Co-Author of New York Times Best seller “Picking Cotton and North Carolina Resident.”
President Debbie Brown, The Buckhead Betties, stated “We are thrilled to participate and support the Junior League of Greensboro in this venue as it offers training sessions with a focus on leadership skills, personal development, networking and mentoring - All qualities in leaders whom, in turn, give back to this great community.”
Junior League of Greensboro is focused exclusively on education and charitable organizations through the commitment of volunteers and the community. Mary Margaret Hart, Chair of the Women’s Leadership Summit added, “We really saw the need among women in our community for a venue to share experiences, and provide training sessions on topics that could help advance the great women leaders of our community in the home, work and in their personal lives.”
