Los Angeles, CA, May 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Help Group is the largest, most innovative and comprehensive nonprofit of its kind in the United States serving children with special needs related to autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, mental retardation, abuse and emotional problems.

On Sunday May 6 from 11am-3pm, The Help Group will hold its 3rd Annual Special Needs Resource Fair at their Sherman Oaks Campus located at:

The Help Group Autism Center
13164 Burbank Blvd.
Sherman Oaks, CA 91401
Admission is Free

iRYZE (i-rise) is a series of workbooks that provides executive functioning skills for children and teenagers with special needs by teaching organizational skills, study skills, communication/relationship, and self advocacy/self confidence.

iRYZE is an inexpensive, flexible internet-based program that addresses all areas of Executive Functioning:

· Base Module (Organizational/Educational) – covers developing a personal organizational system and the corresponding study skills

· Evolve Module (Social/Emotional) – focuses on communication skills and self-advocacy

iRYZE engages young people to care about who they are and how they want to be in school and life. When your child completes the iRYZE program, they will have the tools to be organized, know how to do well in school, have good relationships, and feel self confident.

iRYZE was created by Dr. Jason Stein, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and over 15 years of experience as a teacher, clinical supervisor, and in private practice. Dr. Stein found that children’s problems resulted primarily from not having the necessary tools to handle the expectations of school and life.

These tools are not taught in school, and your child needs them to be successful in school.

iRYZE hopes you will come visit the iRYZE booth at The Help Group’s 3rd Annual Special Needs Resource Fair- it is a wonderful opportunity for parents and professionals to discover the amazing children’s resources Los Angeles has to offer its Special Needs Community.
