The Texting Awareness Foundation Promotes Safe Driving with Breakfast Events Throughout May

Bohemia, NY, May 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- This May, National Youth Traffic Safety Month, the Texting Awareness Foundation (TAF), a national non-profit dedicated to educating the public about the risks of distracted driving, is raising awareness about the dangers of texting and driving. The organization is also raising funds to support its cause, with breakfast awareness events at select Long Island Friendly’s restaurants each Saturday of the month.

Hosted by Friendly’s, anyone can support the the Texting Awareness Foundation by visiting select Friendly’s locations on Long Island. The $10 ticket to support TAF is redeemable for a full breakfast, texting thumb rings, and a Stop Texting decal. All donations are tax deductible, and 100% of donations, after the food expense, will go towards saving the lives of young drivers across the country.
