This is the second consecutive year that South Nassau has been named to the prestigious list.
South Nassau was selected for its robust benefits, wellness initiatives, professional development opportunities, atmosphere of employee unity and satisfaction, and employee recognition programs and events.
The hospital’s most recent employee satisfaction survey showed that 83 percent of the respondents were either generally or extremely satisfied with working at the hospital. Events and programs to honor employees include annual Nurses Week and Hospital Week celebrations; luncheons and ceremonies to honor the selfless efforts of volunteers and auxilians; an Annual Service Awards Dinner, and numerous other events.
