Telecommunications Leaders Join Minerva to Accelerate Growth
Alviso, CA, May 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Minerva Networks, the leading provider of software solutions for the delivery of TV-over-IP services, has announced that industry veterans, Todd Clayton, Chuck Morris, Chuck Yort, and Pancrazio Auteri have joined its management team. All four executives are based at Minerva’s headquarters in Alviso, California.
“As pay-TV service providers embrace IP-based solutions, the market is at an exciting juncture that will create tremendous growth opportunities,” said Mauro Bonomi, CEO of Minerva. “In preparation, Minerva has added key executives to provide invaluable industry experience and leadership.”
Todd Clayton joins Minerva as VP of Strategic Sales. In this role, Clayton will build relationships with top-tier service providers worldwide. While at 2Wire/Pace Clayton demonstrated impressive results in the development of major business opportunities in North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe. Todd attended San Diego State University where he studied Finance and served as a Navy SEAL.
“Minerva’s proven and scalable multiscreen platform provides the advanced capabilities and flexibility needed by large service providers. I look forward to helping operators worldwide navigate through these interesting and challenging times,” said Clayton.

Prior to Minerva, Morris held VP of Engineering positions at Omneon and Venturi Wireless. A recognized expert in developing system and software architectures and the accompanying QA processes, Morris brings an exceptional reputation for building and leading high performance teams.
“The industry is experiencing a dramatic growth in video traffic from multiple sources, consumed on an increasing number of devices,” said Morris. “Minerva has a diverse and talented technical team that has developed industry leading products. I am excited to become a part of this team and to facilitate its next-generation TV-over-IP developments.”
Morris holds a MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and a BA in Business and Economics from Saint Anselm College.
As the new Vice President of Marketing & Strategic Alliances, Chuck Yort brings a wealth of knowledge in the telecommunications industry from companies such as Plantronics, Venturi Wireless, 3Com, and Hewlett-Packard. Yort will lead Minerva’s marketing and partnering initiatives to accelerate the company’s growth and drive business results worldwide.
Before joining Minerva, Yort held the role of VP and General Manager of B2B Solutions at Plantronics, where he led product management, marketing, and business development teams, resulting in significant revenue and profit growth for the company. His focus on translating customer needs into creative solutions has consistently driven impressive business results.
Yort commented: “I’m excited to come to Minerva during this transition in the pay-TV market place. Service providers have to respond to the emergence of competitors delivering video over-the-top of their networks. Fortunately, they are in a unique position to leverage and capitalize on these rapidly emerging technologies. Minerva’s innovative platform and partner ecosystem can deliver value generating solutions today.”
Yort earned an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business as well as degrees from Princeton University in Management Engineering and Economics.
Pancrazio Auteri has joined the company as Senior Director of Product Management. Auteri, co-founder and CTO of TVBLOB, recently moved to Minerva’s headquarters after its acquisition of TVBLOB in late 2011. With over 15 year experience in telecommunications, he has established himself as a global TV innovator. Auteri will lead the product management team as Minerva defines and develops its next generation carrier grade platform.
“I look forward to advancing Minerva’s product leadership position,” said Auteri. “Bringing TVBLOB’s over-the-top technologies to Minerva’s solution will provide even more scalability and extensibility to the industry’s most deployed TV-over-IP platform.”
