First Monthly iPhone Texting Champ Announced

Jonesboro, AR, May 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Ruby Investment Properties (RIP) announces Colton Turner, a 21-year-old male from Trumann, Arkansas as the first big winner of the iPhone App monthly texting championship. Texting Champ has seven $25 categories to compete in each month. In the first month of competition; Colton was the top scorer in each of the categories winning a total cash award of $175.

RIP launched their latest iPhone App, Texting Champ, near the end of March, 2012. Texting Champ uses fun graphics and a challenging game format to help player’s increase their texting speed and accuracy.

Colton is a full time Junior at Arkansas State University, majoring in Business Technology [Business Education] with a football/track coaching endorsement as well. He works part-time at The Home Depot and is also the Youth Pastor at Shepherd's Heart Church in Jonesboro, AR. He loves technology and is the type of person who wants to have each new technological device as soon as they come out, so that he can play with it and learn all the cool things about it.

Colton says "Texting Champ is so much fun! It's a very unique application that challenges the user's speed and accuracy on the keyboard. I highly recommend this application, as it can be a useful tool to improve a person's overall performance on a Smartphone keyboard and since your competing against other people, it's constantly making you want to strive to be better. Texting, especially with today’s youth, has become the preferred method of mainstream communication and will soon be included in educational curriculum; similar to how keyboarding has been taught in schools.

Texting Champ is a free App that provides unlimited practice opportunity. To compete in the monthly Championship competitors purchase credits, which allow them to compete for the top Championship score for the month. Each credit, to play for the cash award, is less than 10 cents. (Texting Champ comes with 12 free credits to compete in the Championship.)
