Brazos Valley Heroes Ribbon Cutting & Hero Celebration Was a Success
On Tuesday, May 1st, Brazos Valley Heroes affiliate Realtor for the Homes for Heroes program kicked off with a Ribbon Cutting & Hero Celebration celebrating our heroes and the national program!
College Station, TX, May 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Homes For Heroes® honors local community heroes and offers large discounts to them when buying, selling, or refinancing a home. With the return of our troops overseas this spring, HFH affiliates are ramping up for a very busy season, and Brazos Valley Heroes and affiliates from Freedom Realty of Texas in College Station, and longtime affiliate lender Jennifer Ott with Proficio Mortgage, kicked off May with a Ribbon Cutting & Hero Celebration!
Homes for Heroes has over 500 affiliates in 42 states. Every affiliate across the country planned some sort of event, celebrating this day, May 1st, in their local community. From ribbon cuttings to blood drives to barbeques to parades and ice cream socials.
Freedom Realty of Texas' Broker, Dawn Thompson, the Brazos Valley Realtor affiliate with Homes for Heroes since 2009, helped put together the event at the Brazos County VFD, Pct 3, Station 2. Many special heroes came out, including fire fighters, police officers, military personnel, dispatch, first response teams, and more to join them in celebrating the program in the area.
Homes for Heroes, is celebrating its eleventh year of bringing huge savings to everyday heroes. Inspired by the events of 9/11, this Minneapolis based program has now become the nation’s largest hero savings program. This collaboration of real estate professionals’ sole purpose is to offer significant savings when buying or selling a home.
