Sydney, Australia, May 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Nocospray Complete Disinfection Technology, available from Equipmed, and dry hydrogen peroxide decontamination has been the focus of several recent clinical studies. It has been proven to be a highly effective way of decontaminating surfaces.
St Vincent’s Hospital Study
St Vincent’s Hospital (Melbourne, Australia) has published a study in The Journal of Hospital Infection, on the efficacy of hydrogen peroxide vapour decontamination in an Australian hospital.
The study focused on the effectiveness of dry hydrogen peroxide decontamination on killing vancomycin-resistant enterocci (VRE). It concluded that dry hydrogen peroxide vapour decontamination is highly effective on a range of surfaces.

Westmead Hospital study
Westmead Hospital (Sydney, Australia) has also published a study into this form of infection control, this time using Nocospray, against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and VRE.
The researchers concluded that “Nocospray further reduced environmental contamination with MRSA and VRE following Viraclean. The process is quick, convenient, safe and allows rapid turnaround of rooms after disinfection. Reducing environmental reservoirs should reduce transmission of MRSA and VRE.”

Nocospray Complete Disinfection Technology
Nocospray Complete Disinfection Technology uses dry hydrogen peroxide to quickly destroy 99.9% of all harmful bacteria, viruses, fungus, moulds and yeasts.
Nocospray is a system of delivering Micro-Fine Nocolyse (H2O2) ions to the surface of harmful micro-organisms. When delivered, new compounds are formed, which induce the micro-organism to self destruct, poisoned on their own chlorine.
Nocospray leaves no residue, is non-corrosive, is CASA-approved for use in aircraft and is 99.9% biodegradable within minutes.
Nocospray Total Surface and Air Disinfection is the answer to the ever-rising threat of superbugs, and is becoming an essential in Health Care, Pathology, Imaging, Mortuaries, Transport, Prisons, Ambulances, and is also used for mould remediation.
Because it is a total surface and air disinfection, it gives the ability to shut down outbreaks of gastro, flus and any other type of airborne-transmittable organisms, which really changes the game in this regard.
Because the organisms are destroyed by their own chlorine on the cell membrane, nothing can become resistant to it, thereby allowing a pro-active approach to Infection Control rather than a reactive one.
Nocospray kills Clostrium Difficile, both vegetative and spore, which is one of the more difficult organisms to kill (especially the spore).
Nocospray should not only be considered for transmission between clients, but also for the OH&S of the clinic staff.
Nocospray is a quick, effective and easy way to disinfect clinics, theatres, waiting rooms, animal shelters etc, without all the hard work.
