The Medal Play Golf Tour Scorched Trilogy at Vistancia

Peoria, AZ, May 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Medal Play Golf Tour visited Tilogy at Vistancia Saturday on a very warm day. “The weather was definitely above normal for April,” commented tour director Blane Freytag. “Players took advantage of the hard and fast conditions and posted some very good scores in all the divisions.”

Championship Division – Joe White has been playing great lately and Saturday he kept the roll going posting a net 67 to win by 2 shots over runner-up Rick Olson. Bob Dillon took 3rd a shot back at net 70. With the Summer Sizzle playoffs right around the corner, this division is becoming really competitive.

Gold Division – Carl Thackeray kept his hot streak alive at Trilogy at Vistancia by notching his second win in a row. Carls recent practice is certainly paying off. Dick Colt and Anthony Bilyeu tied for second with Colt winning the scorecard playoff. This is Dicks second playoff runner up position in as many events.

Silver Division – The days hottest performance belongs to Silver Division player Bob Hickman. Hickman scored a career best net 61 to win for the second time on tour. Luther Sander was a distant second at net 66 while Matt Horner took 3rd with a net 68.

The tour returns to action at the Padre course at Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale on Saturday May 5th.
