Jalea Headlines Big Cinco de Mayo Bash at Paco Joe’s This Weekend
South Houston premiere party place puts together party fit for a king to commemorate the annual celebration.

Gil Ramirez, Jr., General Manager of Paco Joe’s Grill & Cantina said today the famous Houston party place has completed arrangements to have Jalea perform live at The Patio during the weekend.
“Jalea will be here for Cinco de Mayo and we are very excited about that,” he told us in his office Friday. “Jalea is known all over as the premiere band when it comes to Latin music. We are really happy they will be performing at The Patio, one of our plush sections at the club,” he said.
Jalea is also famous for the carnival-like atmosphere they create when they perform.
“In the words of Celia Cruz, 'la vida es un carnaval—life is a carnival' and jalea brings 'el carnaval' to the Houston entertainment scene, heating up dance floors across the city with its captivating musical energy,” the group’s bio proclaims.
Besides Jalea, Paco Joe’s Grill & Cantina will be hopping with other activities including face painting for the kids and the kid at heart, Pinata bash, $3 drink specials and Crawfish extravaganza during the weekend.
“DJs will also be available throughout the weekend to entertain the guests. DJ Bruno is in the Main Bar on Friday and DJ Loco will take center stage on Saturday. We have entertainment throughout the weekend and it is going to be a lot of fun,” an excited Ramirez, Jr., said.
Other activities scheduled include Happy Hour from 4-7:00pm with Complimentary Appetizers on Friday and Saturday.
