Good Hands Handyman Wants You to Help Build It Forward and Make Georgia Communities Better

The Build It Forward Campaign is a call to every person, business and organization who wants to help another person have electricity, air conditioning, a water heater, a wheel chair ramp, working appliances and a safe roof to live under. Can you imagine life without these bare necessities?

Atlanta, GA, October 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.
- Sir Winston Churchill

In these economic times, those who suffer the most are the elderly, disabled and low-income families. Those who have homes, are holding onto them and they are in dire need of repairs. Insulation, water heaters, broken appliances, damaged roofs no electricity and broken windows are just a few of the issues that they are going through.

The Build It Forward Campaign is a call to every person, business and organization who wants to help another person have electricity, air conditioning, a water heater, a wheel chair ramp, working appliances and a safe roof to live under. Can you imagine life without these bare necessities?

Good Hands Handyman Nonprofit, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to repairing homes for the elderly, disabled and lower income families who do not have the means to pay for these needed repairs.

Since its inception in 2009, Good Hands has made home repairs to over 40 homes in the Atlanta area. Good Hands has been able to work with homeowners and revitalize Georgia’s neighborhoods.

How do we do it? With donations provided, we are able to help improve the quality of life in our communities. Under the direction of Founder and Executive Director Andre Knight, contractors and handymen volunteer their time to make repairs for those in need, while teaching the apprentice a trade. For the opportunity to learn a trade, the apprentice volunteers their time to make repairs for those in need. 100% of all donations, go to the repairs of these homes.

We can't do it without your help. Contact us today and find out how you can Build It Forward.
