Chicago, IL, May 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Ji Suk Yi, contributor on ABC 7 Chicago’s Windy City LIVE, will serve as master of ceremonies for Compass to Care Childhood Cancer Foundation’s Fashion Flash Fashion Show, being held Friday, June 1, at Loft on Lake. The trendy fashion show features Illinois State Troopers who will walk the runway to raise money to help children travel for cancer treatment.
Yi is the social media contributor on Windy City LIVE and can be seen daily alongside the Windy City LIVE hosts Val Warner and Ryan Chiaverini. She keeps in touch with Facebook and Twitter fans with live feedback throughout the show as well as contributing to the daily host chat news topics, and serves as the show’s go-to foodie. She has been in the ABC 7 Chicago family since November 2006 and considers herself to be the luckiest girl in Chicago media to be working on the city’s newest talk show that showcases anything and everything Chicago.
Windy City LIVE is fresh, fun and interactive. You can catch what all the buzz is about 9am to 10am weekdays. Just after Good Morning America and leading into The View…it’s habit forming! In its premiere year, Windy City LIVE has taken the pulse of Chicago, featuring what’s happening on the local scene as well as shining a spotlight on big name celebrities visiting the city including Jimmy Kimmel, Jane Lynch, Gerard Butler, Jennifer Hudson, Common, Jenifer Lewis, Wendy Williams, Marlon & Shawn Wayans, just to name a few. Windy City LIVE airs LIVE on ABC 7 Chicago at 9am with an encore presentation at midnight. It also airs on the station’s LIVE WELL Network’s digital channels 7.2/7.3 at noon.
Fashion Flash is a charity fashion show presented by Compass to Care Childhood Cancer Foundation. Twenty-five individuals who serve the State of Illinois as Illinois State Troopers, will put their uniforms aside to become the “Fashion Police” as they model in this trendy fashion show. Proceeds from the fashion show will help children travel from their homes to the hospital for cancer treatment.
