Coach Jamaal Al-Din will speak on targeting the proper athlete in the Boise area for basketball, on Boise's ESPN affiliate radio station 1350 KTIK Sports Radio on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 4:30 pm.

Boise, ID, June 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Coach Jamaal Al-Din received a call from Boise's 1350 KTIK Sports Radio station, an affiliate of ESPN Radio. He will speak on Thursday June 7, at approximately 4:30 pm on the topic of targeting the right athletes for baketball in the Boise area. Coach Jamaal Al-Din, who played for former Olympic great, Ricks College and LSU stand-out Ed Palubinskas has arranged his 1st annual Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 Summer Basketball Camp, has given free entry into this summer's camp to 14 participants (13 of whom are from the continent of Africa), this is unheard of in the Boise area and if duplicated by other basketball and AAU organizations locally, it could put Boise schools on the map in State competition.

Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 is quickly becoming recognized as Idaho's basketball commodity for kids.

Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 Summer Basketball Camp is coordinated and coached by Jamaal Al-Din who is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and resides currently in Boise, Idaho. Jamaal Al-Din played locally at Mountain Home High School in Idaho, for basketball great Ed Palubinskas, developer of the "Smartball" advertised on ESPN and NFL Network. Notable West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats: Press Maravich, coached at West Virginia Wesleyan College and later LSU (father of LSU's "Pistol" Pete Maravich).

Coach Jamaal's Accomplishments Include:

Played at Mountain Home High School in Idaho for the great, legendary Coach Ed Palubinskas of Olympic fame and college history. Ed Palubinskas is well kwown for shooting accuracy so much that he tutored the great NBA Legend Shaquille O'Neal while with the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and currently the NBA World Champion Miami Heat. Ed Palubinskas was great to play for, he made me work really hard and taught me to shoot to convert and with accuracy. Ed Palubinskas is developer of "The Smartball" advertised on the NFL Network and ESPN.
