Marilee Byers, Director of Financial Compliance at Microsoft to Speak at the Knowledge Congress’ Teleconference on “Sarbanes-Oxley: 2007 New Management Guidance Update”

On May 23rd 2007, regulators unanimously approved interpretive guidance of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 to assist public companies augment their internal controls and financial reporting efforts while reducing costs. The FCG reports to the Controller’s organization and supports a decentralized compliance organization world-wide.
Marilee is active in a benchmarking group of technology companies and has spoken at a number of industry conferences focused on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Marilee started her career with Deloitte & Touche in Seattle and has held many financial and operational leadership positions in the financial services industry as well as in a number of start-up companies.
