We Are The Dads: a Free Social Network for Dads
Wearethedads.com - a free social network for dads - has launched, giving dads-to-be and fathers a place where they can share, laugh and learn about all things dad-related.
Goostrey, United Kingdom, May 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- www.wearethedads.com, a free social network created exclusively for dads-to-be and fathers has launched, bringing an opportunity for dads-to-be and fathers to share, laugh and learn about all things dad-related.
The site is the next stage of development from the hugely popular www.iamstaggered.com, the men's wedding website, which provides free information to grooms, best men and fathers of the bride.
The site has several features which were requested by men and which set it apart from other social networks.
- Accounts can be set up anonymously, allowing dads the ability to post all of the "stupid" questions they wanted to ask.
- The ability to create groups means that the site can cater for any particular interests (such as dads and football, rants about children's TV or local groups to enable dads to meet other local dads and share resources).
- A Q&A feature allows dads to post up any questions that are nagging at them.
On top of this, members also get a profile area where they can post updates and the ability to create their own blog all for free.
Members can create an account either directly with the site, or by using any of their existing social media accounts. Although the site is only in beta, the reaction has been very positive and we look forward to providing a platform for dads around the world.
