Ten iUniverse titles recently received honors in the 2007 Independent Publisher Book Awards.

New York, NY, June 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Ten iUniverse titles recently received honors in the 2007 Independent Publisher Book Awards, commonly referred to as “The IPPYs.”

The Independent Publisher Book Awards, launched in 1996, were designed to bring increased recognition to the deserving but often unsung titles published by independent authors and publishers. Established as the first awards program open exclusively to independents, the IPPYs recognize hundreds of the year’s best books, bringing them to the attention of booksellers, buyers, librarians and book lovers around the world

The Independent Publisher Book Awards are distributed in 65 subject categories, 10 outstanding book categories and 10 regional categories. Over 2,960 books were entered in this year’s competition.
