Self Review Helps Schools Towards Personalized Learning

G&D Associates launch School Self-Review at the MFF; Share Fair May 05th 2012: Free resource for schools nationwide

Denver, CO, May 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Schools and education establishments across the country now have access to the School Self-Review of Technology to Support Personalized Learning which was launched at the Morgridge Family Foundation Share Fair in Denver, CO last Saturday. The online review is free to education establishments and was designed to help schools assess their use of technology across five areas: Learning, Teaching, Administration and Management, Professional Development and Wider Community to form a basis for planning. Upon completion, schools receive a detailed report of their current status, benchmarking them against national average and other schools in their district and state. The report also includes recommendations on how to develop eight key areas as well as a next steps section.

David Gregory, founder of G&D Associates says, “Schools fully realize the importance of moving to a personalized learning model and most have taken some steps to achieve this.” A common mistake organizations can make is to start planning without having a vision or assessing their current situation. In this complex change management process, beginning from a generic starting point can lead to discouragement and failure. Schools who have already completed the Self-Review agree: “The self review process was very valuable to our school. Not only did it open up important conversations, it helped us to clearly identify priority areas of focus.”
