The annual meeting is an informative, educational and fun gathering for those in the bleeding disorder community and their families. This year includes a keynote program, “Pulse On The Road,” featuring guest speaker, Laurie Kelley. The event will include sessions for adults, caregivers and fun activities for children. This year’s theme “Are You a Savvy Consumer” includes a program on the importance of the 504 Plan and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) especially for students of all ages living with hemophilia and other chronic conditions. The meeting will also cover current standards of care in the hemophilia and bleeding disorder community along with sessions on becoming a savvier healthcare consumer when choosing insurance.
