Mid-Atlantic Travel Agent Offers Food Tour to Cuba from USA
Travel agency has created a special 8-Day food tour of Cuba leaving from the USA.

The 8-day program, departing from the USA, was developed by Bob Older, President of Creative Travel, Inc. as a way to bring the cultures together through food. The interactive program goes beyond the religious, humanitarian and educational programs that most other companies are approved for. They will bring together the traveler with people throughout the Caribbean country including farmers, store owners, restaurateurs, chefs and others to show how food affects the culture and economic stability of Cuba.
Most Americans have been forbidden to legally travel to Cuba for the last 50 years. Under President Clinton and then revived in 2011, the people to people program has helped bring more people to Cuba for meaningful exchanges with their people as a way to help bridge the gaps and misconceptions that may exist between the two countries that are less than 90 miles apart in some areas. “We are proud to be the leader in being one of the first to create and offer this very unique and different program to the American People,” said Older.
Several dates beginning this August are already planned and more will be offered as they fill up. The trips include airfare currently from Miami, Florida and will be small groups of only 20-25 people. The trip will have people learning about Cuban culture and the people and will participants will eat their way through State-run restaurants and private paladares among other places throughout Havana, Old Habana, Cienfuegos and Trinidad, Cuba. Each participant will also be asked to bring a cookbook with them to be donated to the Library in Trinidad.
