REMAX Corporate Social Responsibility - Blood Donation Drive

Ahmedabad, India, May 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- As a part of its Saving Humanity initiative, RE/MAX organized a Blood Donation Camp at Safal Profitaire, Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad, the headquarters of RE/MAX Mumbai Gujarat Maharashtra on April 28, 2012, with the help of Prathma Blood Center. Organizing and coordinating a blood donation drive is one of the most rewarding experiences a person can have - just the fact that you are saving human lives puts things into perspective.

All the Broker offices of Ahmedabad responded whole-heartedly by participating in the blood drive - more than 65 people including all affiliates, office staff, Broker Owners and their family members turned up, but due to strict norms of accepting blood, only 43 donors could donate their blood. Even so, the first blood donation camp by RE/MAX MGM was a resounding success. Knowing that your efforts are helping people live a longer and healthier life is a gift to cherish to eternity.

Prathma Blood Centre is an endeavor of Advanced Transfusion Medicine Research Foundation (ATMRF), established with the aim of modernizing blood banking in India and run by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Annualy, about 50,000 donors voluntarily donate blood to Prathma, saving more than 40,000 lives in Gujarat every year.
