Diamond Joins FFRN

Phoenix, AZ, May 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Freedom Financial Radio Network, an emerging player in financial informational programming, announced today that it has acquired the services of veteran Network Radio Executive Mel Diamond to lead its Affiliate and Advertising Sales efforts.

Laurett Ellsworth, owner and host of FFRN and former Mrs. America, has tapped Diamond to lead the growth of her Freedom Financial Angel Radio Program which she launched in February of 2011. “We look to Diamond, with his vast experience in Network Radio, to take us to the next level and build a solid base of radio stations carrying our programming across the country.” The program showcases three financial strategies during each show to help guide future retirees to securing safe growth in their investment accounts. It is currently airing on multiple stations nationwide, including KKNT, KSKY, WFLF & WHMP.

Diamond is a past Director of The Network Radio Association and Director of Advertising and Compensated Affiliates for the former Satellite Music Network. He is credited for Satellite’s historic growth of advertising revenues. Diamond also served as President of Kidwaves Radio Network, a precursor to Disney’s current effort. Diamond began his network radio career as the first salesperson hired by the newly formed RKO Radio Network.
