Soul-Mates Need Not Fear Death: Continuing a Relationship Across the Great Divide

Author and independent filmmaker Stephen Sakellarios is releasing two new books which describe how he verified a past life in the 19th century, and then re-united with his soul mate, his first wife in that lifetime, despite her not having reincarnated since dying in 1841.

North Myrtle Beach, SC, May 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The common advice given to grieving spouses, after a certain period of time, is to "move on" and find a new relationship. This view is rarely challenged, despite a movement in 1996 which advocated the maintaining of "continuing bonds." The "continuing bonds" movement did not, however, take a clear stand on whether the lost partner had survived death, emphasizing, instead, honoring memories of the deceased and continuing to relate to those memories. The rationale was that in therapy, the clients who were urged to "move on" did no better, or sometimes even fared worse, than clients who were encouraged to actively retain their attachments to their late partners.

Author Stephen Sakellarios, producer of the 2003 reincarnation documentary, "In Another Life: Reincarnation in America," takes it a step further. He first proved reincarnation (and hence, life after death), and then re-established an active relationship with his spouse--still in the "astral" realm--from his 19th-century lifetime. His two companion e-books, recently released, are "Matthew Franklin Whittier in his own words," and "Loving Abby in Truth and Spirit: a Relationship Across the Great Divide." Mr. Sakellarios remarked: "I had been promoting other people's reincarnation cases for years on the 'In Another Life' website, and I wanted to see if I could uncover my own. Turns out I could--but I never dreamed I'd find my soul-mate in the process, nor did it cross my mind that a relationship with her was possible while she was still on the 'other side'."

Sakellarios says that many soul-mates, left behind after the death of their partner, continue to feel a presence, or experience "signs" and help with practical matters. He wondered, however, whether a little "old-fashioned American ingenuity" might make possible a more complete relationship. He claims he found it was possible, and that after he and his astral wife learned to communicate, over a two-year period they also began sharing such activities as listening to music, reading and photography. Sakellarios reports that she is also teaching him piano, preparatory to his being able to "channel" her compositions. How their relationship gradually evolved to this point is described in the book in an easy-to-read manner, with delightful illustrations by artist Damir Kundalic.

Sakellarios adds, "I could have just kept quiet about this as many are doing, but I remembered having suffered so terribly from bad advice to 'move on' when I was Matthew, that I couldn't let it happen to anyone else."
