HomeSource’s Service Partner Program: Jobs for Tradies and Help for Those in Need
Emergency home services company HomeSource, is seeking reliable tradespeople Australia-wide to join their Service Partner Program. HomeSource connects their members in need of emergency plumbing, electrical or locksmith assistance, with tradespeople in their area, directly providing jobs for their Service Partners.
Sydney, Australia, May 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- “Due to an increase in membership numbers, brought about by recent corporate partnerships, we require additional Service Partners all over Australia to join our program. We have no ongoing fees and take no commission and, provided that the charge for the callout fee and first half hour is under $100, there are no costs for the contractor,” said Pia Vogel, Joint Managing Director of HomeSource.
The service which HomeSource provides is called Home Assist. Explained as similar to ‘roadside assistance’ but for the home, it is the first of its kind in Australia. The service generates jobs for the Service Partners by linking those in need with those with the skills to help.
General members of Home Assist pay an annual fee which allows them four call outs per year, covering plumbing, electrical and locksmith emergencies. HomeSource is on call 24/7 to organise the appropriate tradesperson to deal with the member’s situation.
Home Assist also has members through HomeSource’s corporate partners including ANZ bank, American Express and TRUenergy. These companies offer the Home Assist service as a benefit to their customers.
The program is Australia-wide, however Service Partners are free to nominate their area of coverage and the distance that they are willing to travel to suit them. They also submit their business hours and whether they are willing to work after hours and if so, the respective charge.
“The program is all about flexibility. The very definition of emergencies means we cannot predict when or where they occur. We do not expect our service partners to always drop what they are doing and this is why we work on a job by job basis. We contact the partner when a member is in need in their area and if they’re available then the job is theirs!”
Unlike leads generating companies, this Program provides its Partners directly with jobs from their call centre. Additionally, the Service Partner is listed on a HomeSource database which their members can access for other non-emergency work. The database hosts only pre-vetted, qualified tradespeople.
“HomeSource is known for its commitment to quality, and compliance is a key part of it all. This is why we also help our tradies with managing their compliance. Our tradespeople receive regular updates on changing legislation and warnings when their certifications are about to expire.
“Emergency situations provide for rewarding jobs and our Service Partners are really helping someone in need,” Ms Vogel said.
