Feabhas Now an ARM Approved Training Centre
ARM support a worldwide network of organisations, which provide ARM Training as part of the ARM Approved Training Centre Program. Feabhas is now licensed to deliver ARM software courses to the embedded software community, which includes training for ARM® Cortex™ processors.
Hungerford, United Kingdom, May 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- This partnership between ARM and Feabhas strengthens the successful relationship the two businesses have had for many years. ARM is one of Feabhas’ earliest clients and Feabhas is a primary global supplier of embedded software training to engineers within ARM.
Being an ARM Approved Training Centre and a member of the ARM Connected Community allows Feabhas to align courses with the ARM architecture and this complements the existing ARM training portfolio. Feabhas will add value to the ARM high quality training portfolio by combining it with their own highly regarded embedded software portfolio and ARM expertise. This will offer ARM Partners best in class embedded software training.
Niall Cooling, CEO of Feabhas explains, “We are delighted our knowledge and training skills have been recognised by the world's leading semiconductor intellectual property (IP) supplier. The ARM Cortex processors are driving the future of embedded systems. Software plays such a critical role in modern embedded systems and being able to align Feabhas courses with the ARM technology is of huge benefit to the embedded software engineers we teach.”
Chris Shore, Training Manager, ARM continues, "We are pleased that Feabhas will be joining our growing network of worldwide training partners. Its course portfolio, alongside its emphasis on embedded software, is an excellent match for ARM training initiatives. Most importantly, the increased availability of high-quality ARM training will be of great benefit to organizations and engineers alike throughout the ARM community.”
ARM specific courses will be clearly labelled as such and Feabhas will continue to run vendor independent courses for which they are renowned. Many of these embedded software courses use target hardware in the classroom and all target hardware boards have an ARM core.
About Feabhas
The Feabhas mission is to improve the competency of Embedded Software Engineers everywhere. Through training, assessment and consultancy we can significantly affect the quality of embedded software development in an organisation. Many producers of electronic products are not traditionally software developers and engineers coming out of university are ill equipped for embedded development. Engaging with Feabhas can help plug that crucial skills gap. Based in the UK, Feabhas was formed in 1995 and has trained 8000 engineers worldwide to date.
