IBFD Announces the Appointment of Prof. Dr Stef van Weeghel as the New Chairman of Its Board of Trustees
The International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) announces the appointment of Prof. Dr Stef van Weeghel as the new Chairman of its Board of Trustees. Prof. Van Weeghel succeeds Prof. Dr. Guglielmo Maisto.
Amsterdam, Netherlands, May 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- IBFD is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Dr Stef van Weeghel as the new Chairman of its Board of Trustees. Prof. Van Weeghel succeeds Prof. Dr. Guglielmo Maisto, who retired on 12 May 2012.

About Prof. Dr Stef van Weeghel
Over the past 25 years, Prof. Van Weeghel has acquired extensive experience in international tax law. He has been a Member of IBFD’s Board of Trustees since 2008.
Holder of a law degree of Leiden University, a LLM in Taxation from New York University and a PhD in Law from the University of Amsterdam, Prof. Dr Stef van Weeghel is Partner, Chair AEX-Midkap Group PwC, Amsterdam; international tax law professor at the University of Amsterdam and a member of the Amsterdam Centre for Tax Law (ACTL). He also chairs the Dutch branch of IFA (International Fiscal Association) and is a member of IFA’s Permanent Scientific Committee.
