The Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts (“HARA”) Presents the Na Hoku Hanohano Music Festival and the 35th Annual Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, May 25-27, 2012
The 2012 Na Hoku Hanohano Music Festival, the culminating event of Mele Mei 2012 - a month-long celebration of Hawaii's music, will take place May 25-27, at the Hawaii Convention Center, and includes unique music industry-related workshops and the prestigious 35th Annual Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.
Honolulu, HI, May 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts (“HARA”) is proud to present the 2012 Na Hoku Hanohano Music Festival (“the Festival”), May 25-27, at the Hawaii Convention Center. The Festival events are open to the public, and will include two days of unique music industry-related workshops and panel discussions led by over 60 of Hawaii’s most notable performing artists, kumu hula, and industry professionals, as well as the 35th Annual Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (“the Hokus”) on May 27th. The Festival is the culminating event of Mele Mei 2012 – a month-long celebration of Hawaii’s music, which kicked off with an Opening Concert and Luncheon at The Willows on April 27th, and has continued to showcase Hawaii’s finest talent at packed venues in and around Waikiki throughout May.
