Porter and Chester Institute Promotes New President and CEO
Rocky Hill, CT, May 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Porter and Chester Institute, a technical school based in Connecticut and Massachusetts, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jim Bologa to President and Chief Executive Officer, reporting to the Chairman of the Board. In this position, Jim will work closely with the Board to pursue the goals set out for Porter and Chester Institute.
Since 2009, Jim Bologa has held the leadership role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at PCI. During his tenure as COO, he successfully developed a solid foundation within the organization that has positioned PCI for significant growth in the future.
Jim was recently appointed as a school commissioner and a board member of Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) which is PCI’s national accreditation organization. Jim has worked in the automotive, truck, aerospace, telecommunications, business services and healthcare industries for publicly traded and private equity sponsored companies. Jim graduated from Elmira College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He has been certified public accountant since 1990.
