Flexotecnica Announces Record Drupa 2012
Bohemia, NY, May 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Flexotecnica announces a record number of press sales at Drupa, along with its parent company, Cerutti, who also experienced a huge boost in sales of its leading edge rotogravure technology.
“Flexotecnica’s sales, in particular, came in from all over the world, especially from North America, Latin America, the Far East and the Middle East,” stated Tom Jacques, Sales Manager – North America. “The new EVO-XG press, which was demonstrated at the Drupa, was also sold to a repeat customer, Plasticel of Colombia, making it their fifth Flexotecnica press!”
In addition to the static press demonstrations at Drupa, Flexotecnica also hosted numerous visits of customers who came to Tavazzano to see live printing demonstrations of the latest XG press, equipped with Flexotecnica’s new auto-registration system. “The benefit of this system is that even less waste is generated now, because any reference spot on the screen can be changed during set-up without having to reset the system, like with other commercial solutions. This saves our customers even more money, which is the name of the game today.”
In total, the Cerutti Group signed orders for over 20 machines, with many new projects in the wings to be concluded in the coming months.
