Elk Earns a Top Ten Spot
Elk named #9 on the list of Top 50 Businesses Keyed Towards Revenue Growth.
Reading, PA, May 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Elk Environmental Services, of Reading, Pennsylvania, is honored to announce that they have been named one of the top businesses in Reading by the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The announcement came on May 15th by the Reading Eagle newspaper.
Elk ranked at #9 on this year’s list, out of 50. Elk is cited as having the biggest jump between last year and this year, moving from #34 to #9 in 2011. Elk was one of only three environmental companies to be included on the list.
To be included on the list, Elk had to be nominated. Revenues of each nominated company and subsequent winners had to be at least $1 million in each of the last three years. The rankings were calculated by both the dollar and percentage amount of revenue growth, for the past three years. A 25 place jump in the rankings would suggest that Elk has had a steady increase in revenue.
