The program combines physical training with continuing education, enhancing the traditional benefits of martial arts for children with fun learning and reading activities. Their goal is to “Let your kids have a blast when school’s out!”
“Exercise makes your brain sharp,” said Master Apolo Ladra, ASMAP co-founder and certified Martial Arts Hall of Fame Instructor and World Champion. "Being healthy and fit enhances a child’s ability to learn and develop."
The instructors at ASMAP are devoted to making learning fun for kids and are dedicated to inspire and motivate their students to achieve more than they ever thought possible. They use a unique concept, “Teach to Learn & Learn to Teach.” This empowering approach accelerates the learning process for students, increasing their ability to absorb new material and apply what they learn at a much faster rate than traditional teaching methods. They do all this while making sure kids are always having fun!
ASMAP teaches the Filipino indigenous art of Kali. The wonderful art of Kali offers something practical for everyone, from self-defense and discipline to mental and physical health.
ASMAP’s ten week summer program is offered in both its Broward and Miami-Dade locations. The program runs from June 11, 2012 to August 18, 2021, Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4PM, with Early Drop-off, Late Pickup, and Weekly Rates available to accommodate any parent’s busy schedule.
