Thetutorpages.com Relaunches to Help Users Access Thousands of Articles on UK Private Tuition

Thetutorpages.com, one of the UK’s most comprehensive private tuition websites, has relaunched to give users greater access to thousands of expert articles written by UK private tutors.

London, United Kingdom, May 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Parents and students can not only browse the improved Tutor Pages site to read expert articles, but can also contact tutors for free if they are looking to hire one. The site, which recently featured on BBC Radio 4’s You and Yours programme, also lists hundreds of tuition centres around the UK.

The Tutor Pages worked with developer Spodnet Ltd and web and video studio Skysoclear to bring a fresh look to the site. Every subject – anything from A-level maths and French to public speaking and the guitar – has its own dedicated page of articles written by tutors.

Thetutorpages.com has also recorded its highest number of enquiries for private tuition over the last quarter, with almost 7000 requests for tuition passing through the site between January and March 2012.

Unlike most tuition websites, The Tutor Pages is an online publication rather than an agency, and therefore does not charge commission on lessons. “In these tough economic times, it’s possible that the popularity of our website is due partly to parents seeking more affordable ways to employ a tutor,” said Henry Fagg, the website’s director.
