Team RFR at the Second Circuit of the World Series by Renault During the Most Prestigious Race of the Season: The Monaco Grand Prix
Drivers Mikhail Aleshin and Anton Nebylitskiy gear up for a widely anticipated race
Monte Carlo, Monaco, May 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Team Russia France Racing (RFR) have arrived at the next circuit in the 2012 World Series by Renault (WSR), looking forward to an action-packed weekend in Monaco and ready to race this Sunday. “There is always so much anticipation for the Monaco race, especially since the WSR is sharing the course with Formula One,” says Team RFR driver Anton Nebylitskiy. “The Monaco race doesn’t look like other races of this year. It’s another world, with other emotions and other challenges. At the Monaco race, we have just 40 minutes of free practice and then only one chance…one race. But to be there…to drive on this famous track, that’s unbelievable!”
Sharing the Monaco circuit the same weekend as the Formula One Grand Prix is an added bonus for any Formula 3.5 Series driver. Team RFR driver Mikhail Aleshin, who took second place at the 2010 Formula Renault 3.5 podium in Monaco, has fond memories of the track, stating, “The Monaco GP is quite special for every driver, because it is a special track and city, and has a great history and for sure it’s always very nice to be a part of it.”
Backed by a leading European energy company, Gazprom Neft - promoting their G-Energy line of motor oils - Team RFR, clad in the company’s colors, looks forward to improving its game on the circuit and taking the lead in Monaco. “Everything needs time to work perfect (being on a new team). But I believe in my team and I am sure we will be on top soon,” says Nebylitskiy. Aleshin adds, “I think we have quite a good team, good engineers and mechanics, so we have everything to be successful.”
Additional Team RFR partners include Norilsk Nickel, the world’s largest producer of nickel and palladium and one of the leading producers of platinum and copper; LUDING, Russia’s leading importer and distributor of elite beverages; BW Communication Partners Group and Château Roc de Calon.
Both Aleshin and Nebylitskiy share a positive attitude and encourage their fan base to do the same. “To our fans…we say, have some fun and it will be a great race!”
Team RFR participates in the Formula 3.5 Renault race in Monaco this Sunday at 11.10 CEST. For more information about Team RFR, please visit the website at www.teamRFR.com.
