McDonald Hyundai Announces 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament Benefiting Children’s Hospital
Denver Charitable Organization, McDonald Hyundai Hope Foundation, has just announced the date for their next charity golf tournament in support of the Children’s Hospital in Denver.
Denver, CO, May 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The McDonald Hyundai Hope Foundation has just announced that they will be holding their 2nd annual charity golf tournament at the Blackstone Country Club in Aurora, Colorado benefiting the Children’s Hospital in Denver.
Established by the McDonald Automotive Group near Denver, the McDonald Hyundai Hope Foundation was created to raise funds to help child cancer patients throughout the state of Colorado. Inspired by the efforts of Hope On Wheels, a national effort involving over 800 Hyundai dealers, McDonald Hyundai decided to take their efforts one step further by creating their own non-profit specifically raising funds for local organizations.
Although the foundation is still in its infancy, they were able to donate an astounding $27,500.00 to the Children’s Hospital after their first charity golf tournament. This year, the foundation hopes to raise even more funds in support of this worthy cause.
The tournament will start as a four person scramble format and each golfer that enters will enjoy 18 holes of golf with complimentary tee-bag, range balls, and an awards banquet/dinner. There are five different levels of sponsorship for the event and all proceeds will go directly to the Children’s Hospital in Denver to help support their Pediatric Cancer Unit.
