DAMN Digital Studio is preparing updates for The Nick Versus Series, an interactive children’s book, now available on the Android market.
Brooklyn, NY, May 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- DAMN Digital Studio, an interactive and branding agency based in Dumbo, Brooklyn, New York City’s Digital District, is preparing updates for The Nick Versus Series, an interactive children’s book, now available on the Android market.
Developed for tablet devices, such as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Motorola Zoom, a free download of Nick Versus is available at bit.ly/NickVersusTheDark. To accommodate users of Apple products, DAMN Digital will release an iPad version by the end of May.
The series follows the life of Nick, a young boy growing up in New York City as he faces new challenges and overcomes them. Nick's life is full of adventure, technology, working parents, and learning to navigate life.
The interactive book focuses on engaging children in the digital space and features games, puzzles, animations, cut scene videos, audio, read along and sound effects, and is touch sensitive. The series is a great resource for parents hoping to teach their children responsibility, teachers and other education professionals, and youth who enjoy reading while incorporating technology.
In addition to now being available to iPad users, The Nick Versus Series will also focus heavily on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education. “The importance of exposing youth to STEM education is vital. Along with DAMN Digital’s co-founder, Kevin Braithwaite, I’m committed to doing my part to ensure youth are exposed to education and careers in these fields,” said Danii Oliver, co-founder, DAMN Digital Studio.
The Nick Versus Series is part of “The Digital Zone" project pipeline, developed by DAMN Digital co-founders, Danii Oliver and Kevin Braithwaite, which uses technology to help people navigate their digital lifestyles.
