Effectively immediately, customers will be able to select one of nine different currencies, and view the pricing in that currency. The customer will then be charged using the currency that they have selected.

It is expected that many customers will benefit from being able to select their preferred currency. "We used to charge customers solely in United States Dollars," explained Simon Drain, CEO of The Web Hosting Team. "Customers based overseas would often use an online foreign exchange calculator to find out how much a service would cost in their local currency. However, the calculators weren't always accurate, as many of them used the mid-point between the currency's buy and sell rates."

"Now that we are displaying the prices on our website, customers will get an accurate quote of how much they will be charged," Simon Drain advised.

Customers are able to be charged in United States Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Swiss Francs, Euros, British Pounds, Indian Rupees, Japanese Yen, Australian Dollars and Mexican Peso.
