Sheraton Sharm El Sheikh Play an Active Role in Serving the Society

Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, May 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- As apart of Sheraton Sharm Hotel, Resort, Villas & Spa responsibilities towards the society, and in light of its constant role in serving the community; the hotel has participated in “A Right to an Equal Life” program sponsored by the international labor organization and in collaboration with “Ebtessama” foundation.

“A Right to an Equal Life” program aimed at people with disabilities through training and provision of all means of guidance and direction and then employ them in different areas of work, each according to his capabilities and potential.

As part of this initiative, Sheraton sharm El Sheikh in cooperation with “Ebtessama” foundation has trained and hired 6 persons with disabilities with the aim of raising awareness and advocating for the needs of them to reintegrate them into the society and make them believe that they are a valued part of the society since an issue is very important, as indicators of the world health organization confirms that people with disabilities represent approximately 10% of the total population of Egypt, and the rate of unemployment ranging between 80 and 90%.
