McKim & Creed Hires Senior CAD Designer

Wilmington, NC, May 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- McKim & Creed, Inc., an engineering, geomatics (surveying) and planning firm with offices throughout the South, announces that Paige Vassar has re-joined the company’s Wilmington, North Carolina office as a senior CAD designer.

Vassar is a graduate of UNCW with a degree in environmental studies. She worked with McKim & Creed from 1998 to 2008. Most recently, she was employed with Catlin Engineers and Scientists.

McKim & Creed is a 350-person, employee-owned engineering, geomatics (surveying) and planning firm with offices throughout the South. The company was established in Wilmington in 1978, and most recently expanded its services into Texas by acquiring SURVCON, a Division of McKim & Creed.

In May, McKim & Creed was named by Engineering News-Record Southeast as the largest surveying and mapping firm and the third largest North Carolina-based engineering firm in the Southeast. The rankings were based on revenues from the previous year and included firms in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
