Appointments: RateTiger Restructures Sales and Support to Meet Greater Customer Service Expectations
London, United Kingdom, May 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- RateTiger has reorganised its frontline customer support team and business development units to support ongoing growth and personalise its customer support provision.
Sunaina Jagtiani who has been with RateTiger for over four years has been promoted from Senior Sales Manager (UK) to VP Customer Support overseeing all global front line support teams. RateTiger’s new support structure incorporates Service Managers and Market Managers who will attend to the service needs of chain and independent hotels respectively.
“Sunaina’s strong commercial focus and understanding of customer needs will provide invaluable experience as we strive towards the highest levels of customer support,” said Keith Watson, Head of Commercial Operations, RateTiger. “With over 5000 customers we need to ensure centralised Group and Chain operations receive tailored support in accordance with their needs, whilst maintaining close contact with the revenue managers and distribution staff in individual hotels.”
RateTiger’s front line support has been organized around time zones and language requirements, but now has a greater emphasis on the specific requirements of hotel property types as a direct response to suggestions from customers.
Further to this, former sales manager Cristina Hernandez is now responsible for RateTiger’s largest European markets - Spain and Germany, in her new role as Regional Sales Manager.
“Cristina was the leading sales person in RateTiger for two years running, she has brought in many key clients to our portfolio including Eurostars, Silken Hotels and Iberostar,” said Casey Davy, VP Sales EMEA. “She is excited to be working in her second home, Germany, and developing our profile in the Austrian market. We are currently recruiting a business development team to support her.”
In the UK, Cristina Blaj has been appointed to Sales Manager. She will be responsible for expanding RateTiger’s presence throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Cristina comes with firsthand experience in travel agency hotel sales across Europe speaking multiple languages including French, Spanish and Romanian.
RateTiger will also be developing its team in the London and Orlando office during 2012.
