In an Innovative Interactive Way iZapTV Brings Grace Greenwood’s The Little Pilgrim to the Public

The Largest Private Collection of the 1850s and Civil War Era 1860s Children’s Magazine will be Purchased, Digitized, Produced and Made Available to the Public in eBook Format.

Houston, TX, May 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Power of 1. Faith and fate are smiling on this little project. The Little Pilgrim is finding a new purpose with today’s kids, and will be featured in a new SDTV - Smart Device TeleVision - program on iZapTV this summer. Co-founders Keith Mullen and Dyanna Wilson are moving aggressively forward to give us a national introspective rooted in historical accuracy.

The show will be comprised of stories, commentary and characters that children can identify with while learning how this great nation got its start, and has prospered, on American values. The show’s content will cover topics such as social interaction, self-esteem and the golden rule, while not shying away from tough topics such as personal conflict and death. All relevant topics that the forward thinking abolitionist, women’s rights activist and true patriot, Grace Greenwood, educated children on in the mid 1800’s.

The Project is seeking donations of $1 from the public to purchase the 78 issue collection, digitize it, produce it then donate it to the public in the form of a free eBook. The original collection will be endowed to the very lucky Texas A&M University upon completion of the project.

“In today's fast paced, 6 dollar coffee, over-medicated, pop-ad society it takes a woman speaking to us from 1855 to return us to our center. The even crazier part to me is that the issues she addresses are just as on point today as they were then. I can't wait to develop this further. I am amazed each time I read through an issue at how beneficial Grace Greenwood is to today's kids. She is like a Dr. Phil. Someone should give her a show. Oh, wait, we are!” said Dyanna Wilson.

Added Keith Mullen, “Given the assault on America's faith and values these days, I realized, while reading my first issue of The Little Pilgrim back in March, there's never been a better time in history to re-introduce Grace and her Little Pilgrim to America. Parents, teachers, homeschoolers, and the religious of all faiths, are fighting an uphill battle and we are going to help them. The bad news is... we have to come up with $100,000. The good news is... you only have to come up with 1.”
