Director Ryan Pickett's Short Film Look Wins Its Sixth Award at Los Angeles Movie Awards

Nashville, TN, June 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Film director Ryan Pickett of Nashville, Tennessee is thrilled to announce that short film Look has won two awards at the 2012 (II) Los Angeles Movie Awards. Seven-minute short film Look is the recipient of the Award of Excellence as well as Best Original Score, which was created by California-based musician Deepak Ramapriyan, who is also known as The Other Deepak. Look was competing in the Student Category.
Ramapriyan who has a degree is Neurobiology composed original music for Look and he sang on the track. Some of Ramapriyan’s most recent work includes being a lead singer / writer in his rock band B.O.L.T. and lead singer of the world sacred music ensemble Breath of Life Tribe as well as being the owner of the FUNdamentals of Music and Movement San Fernando Valley franchise for music therapy for daycare children. Several critics have praised Look, including a four-star review from Film Threat. Look follows a lonely barmaid (Starina Johnson) who pines for a man (John Ferguson).
