Williamsburg Homes continues its “Maryland’s Award Winning Builder” winning streak by sweeping all major categories at the MAX 2011 Awards held at Martins West, on Thursday, May 17th.
Receiving a total of six honors at the MAX 2011 Maryland Awards of Excellence adds to Williamsburg’s incredible run as “Maryland’s Award Winning Builder” having received First Place honors for the 28th consecutive year – an achievement unmatched among Maryland builders.
“This is an amazing tribute to our company, which strives every day and with every home we build to make a difference in the way people live,” said Bruce Harvey, Williamsburg Homes President. “I could not be more proud of this team of professionals who are passionate about designing, building, and selling new homes of the highest quality and value in Maryland. I am especially proud that we received awards for homes at all levels of our portfolio – from entry level and move-up homes priced in the $300’s to our largest detached luxury residences priced near $1 million. We have strived to expand our well known luxury style designs into affordable product lines and are delighted to see that these homes were so well received by the MAX Awards judges,” continued Harvey.
The MAX Awards program recognizes homebuilders in Maryland who provide buyers with excellence in design, livability and value in town homes and single-family homes.
The Williamsburg Homes’ team was a big winner in the Best Single Family Detached Home category receiving awards for the “Prescott” model ($850,000 to $999,000 price point) at Sheppard Manor in Ellicott City, the “Tyding’s Park” model ($600,000 - $699,000 price point) at The Residences at Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace, and the “Emily’s Elegance” Liberty series model ($300,000 - $399,000 price level) also at Bulle Rock.
In addition to the three awards in the Single Family Detached category, Williamsburg was lauded with a First Place award in the Attached Home category for the “Eden” model ($300,000 - $399,000 price level) at The Landings at Emerson in Laurel and received two awards in the 55-and-Better category for the “Patapsco” model ($300,000 - $399,000 price level) and the “Ellicott” model ($400,000 - $499,000 price level) both at The Enclave at Ellicott Station in Ellicott City.
“In a field of talented competitors, the Williamsburg Homes team continues to rise to the top based on creativity, skill and passion which is displayed in the way we design our communities and homes and in the processes we use in constructing and selling our homes. It is so rewarding to consistently demonstrate why we are ‘Maryland’s Award Winning Builder,’” said Tim Morris, Vice President.
