Santiago Chopper

Old Skool Meets Generation X

Inspired by the classic Hot Rod’s of the 1950’s and today’s need for technology, risk and speed, Santiago Chopper Specialties combines the best of two generations.

Las Vegas, NV, November 17, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Gone are the days of the Trike being looked down upon. Now there is a line of Trikes that defy the ugly, box on three wheels thinking. The “Hot Rod Trike” by Santiago Chopper Specialties of Tampa, melds the best of both worlds. It started with the high placement of the tractor-like seat along with a suicide clutch, topped off with the traditional Robin Egg Blue color of the muscle car era and thick whitewall tires.

The “Hot Rod Trike” turns many heads as she glides down the highway. It makes the average biker take notice and may even sway a few to give up their bikes for a ride on the wild side. Traditionally, Trikes were home built machines resembling a box that has everything including the kitchen sink.  "I don't like those boxy Trikes that are mainstream in this market," says Alan Bernard, Owner/Builder at Santiago Chopper.  "I love the Hot Rod era and wanted to make a Trike that reflected the old muscle cars", says Bernard, "I think we accomplished a great tribute to the Hot Rod's of yesteryear."

Santiago Chopper Specialties is paving the way for more stylish, sleek Trikes. Even the most die hard biker would approve. With the launch of the “Hot Rod Trike,” Santiago offers a line of Trikes like no other.  "I wanted to make a line of Trikes that anyone would want to own and you would never see anywhere else", says Bernard.

Santiago Chopper Specialties manufactures top quality machines not easily found elsewhere in the US. The choppers are built from the ground up beginning with custom designed frames manufactured exclusively for Santiago Chopper in Europe. Each chopper adheres to the higher TUV standards of the global automotive regulations and far exceeds any chopper available in the marketplace today.

If you don’t believe it, come check them out for yourselves at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nov. 17 – 20, 2005. The “Hot Rod Trike” is entered in the AMD ProShow’s Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building.
