In addition to being a 2012 U.S. National Table Tennis Cadet Boys Team Member, Kanak achieved a silver medal at the 2012 Safir and Swedish Open in U12 Boys, and a bronze medal at the 2011 Hope Challenge Austria in Boys Singles. Moreover, he was the 2011 U.S. Open Under 11 Boys Champion & Under 13 Boys Runner-up. Kanak currently holds an ITTF World Ranking of #77 in Boys Under 15 and USA Table Tennis Association (USATT) rating of 2387.
