Jack Astor’s Bar And Grill To Host Bartender Competition
Cary, NC, June 12, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Jim Mallon, managing partner of Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill located at 2300 Walnut St. in Cary, has announced that the restaurant will host a bartender competition on Wednesday, June 20 at 7 p.m. Participants in the competition will showcase their skills, dance steps and new drink inventions in an event that has been a part of Jack Astor’s tradition for 16 years. Admission is $10 and proceeds will be split between the Me Fine Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance for children and families at the Duke Children’s Hospital and the North Carolina Children’s Hospital at UNC, and the Flying Fish Project, a nonprofit charity that provides resources to organizations that serve the needy in the Caribbean. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the restaurant during normal business hours. Jack Astor’s recently introduced a new menu that features 14 new entrees, providing guests with an enhanced dining experience.
