BJAC Principal of Higher Education Projects Named to Town of Chapel Hill’s Board of Adjustment
Jennifer Amster to Serve as Member of Chapel Hill’s Board of Adjustment.
Raleigh, NC, June 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Dan Fields, AIA and principal of BJAC, pa (http://bjac.com/), an architectural firm offering professional architectural and design services to healthcare, education, municipal and research clients, has announced that Jennifer Amster, AIA, principal and director of higher education projects, has been named to the Town of Chapel Hill’s Board of Adjustment, which acts to determine and enforce zoning, land use, and town code ordinances and regulations. Her term runs through June 30, 2013.
Amster has more than 15 years of industry experience in project management. She has managed BJAC’s largest education projects and has helped universities across the state in prioritizing their needs and keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
The Board of Adjustment consists of three county positions that are filled by citizens and appointed by the Board of Commissioners. Each chair is elected for a one-year term. The Board works through the process of appeal and review, and has the authority to act independently of the Town Council.
